It was another gorgeous day, here, today, and the perfect day for the one year old session I photographed. We began in downtown Fernandina and finished up in a little field area on the island. I had so much fun with little Lottie and her mom and dad, Joy and Paul. This is the 3rd session i have had with Lottie in her first year and she was just perfect in front of the camera. Oh–we had the occasional whimper, but that was short-lived, as soon as her mom or day began jumping around–seems when she sees someone jumping she finds it quite humorous. I did get a couple of those little ‘pouty’ faces–because I adore those just as much as the smiling ones–and sometimes more :). I will be posting images from her session, soon.
Meanwhile, I have a few images from a recent engagement session. This cute couple wanted to start downtown and then continue the session at Ft. Clinch, where, late last year, he had proposed to her. After spending about an hour in downtown Fernandina, we arrived at Ft. Clinch at the proper time for the beautiful evening light. It was just magical…the trees along the drive in Ft. Clinch form continuous gorgeous canopies, so on the way to the beach, I asked the couple to pull over and we quickly grabbed a few shots of them with those beautiful Spanish moss-draped trees as a backdrop. The setting sun filtering through the moss was a spectacular sight as always. Our last stop was the gorgeous beach and pier area of the state park. It was the perfect finish to our time together. Enjoy!
