Twenty-six years ago, today, our son, Stevn, joined our happy family of five to make us a happier family of six. I want to wish him a very Happy Birthday as the day is just about to close out. I can’t believe it has been 26 years. Wow!

Back to photography- it is a busy season. If I am not out shooting, I am at this computer editing. I have had such a mixture of sessions, lately. High School Seniors, children, weddings, engagements, couples, families, more – including even a political candidate’s session. One of the sessions was even in Savannah, Georgia. What a beautiful place to photograph! (Those four children of mine, kind of mentioned above,  helped prepare me for this present whirlwind in which I live).

I am going to share a few images from the beautiful beach wedding of Hannah and Kevin that took place on April 21. This cute bride contacted me the first of the year and I had been looking forward to this wedding since that time. The rain threatened, but did not make it until the reception when all were safe inside; however, the clouds in the sky during the wedding just added some extra special drama to these wedding images. Katrin and I used our creative lighting to emphasize the clouds even more. We love playing with  light–natural and creative–to give our clients more than the standard look.
