I wanted share one of my recent family/child sessions. The cute little guy in these images has been in front of my camera lens since he was a newborn. I love being with him and I have loved watching him grow from a teensy little one into the amazing, 2 year he is today.
Soon, he and his mom and dad will be welcoming his little brother into the family. So, after photographing his session, I was thrilled to be able to catch a few special shots of his mom and dad with one of our gorgeous sunsets as the backdrop, showing off that belly bump. One of those images is included, below.
The marina, where this image was taken, is in downtown Fernandina Beach. The boats and mill smoke, along with the setting sun, helped capture the dramatic effect in this image. The Fernandina Beach Marina is a photographer’s paradise, with many boats, water and reflections, and gorgeous sunsets. In fact, the entire quaint downtown, where the session was photographed, lends itself to many photo ops.
I love to photograph children. I don’t believe one can capture a bad shot of a child. Whether the child is smiling, serious, pouting, laughing, crying, mad, surprised, etc., a beautiful image is always to be found. I appreciate those who allow me to document the milestones in their children’s lives. I can’t wait to see who the next one will be! 🙂
I am offering a new child’s photography line. It includes the gorgeous Wild Sorbet frames and I am so glad to have that company’s frames as part of my business. I believe it is a great match and I am so happy to have found them.
If you know of anyone who would like some unique images of their child or children or grandchildren–images that capture the child’s complete personality, please send them my way. Child photography is one of my absolute favorites!
