Hi All,

Just a quick post to let you know I am still here. It has been a very busy time in the last several weeks. I have had several weddings and child shoots–and even a couple of family sessions. The big family session time will begin in about a month and last for about three to four months, with many folks wanting beach photos along the beautiful coast of Amelia Island, where I live. I love those and am looking forward to meeting and photographing new families. And…..getting to photograph some that come to the island, yearly. It is always fun to see how much the kids have grown from year to year!

I live just two blocks from the Ritz Carlton- Amelia Island, and about two miles from The Omni, Amelia Island Plantation. These two places are hopping in the summer months–as are all the other hotels in town, and even now, as tourists begin to flock into town for our annual Shrimp Festival. This is the 50th annual Shrimp Festival, and if you have never heard of it–well, you need to plan to visit us next year, for this special event. It is always the first weekend in May.  Side note: Fernandina Beach, on Amelia Island,  is home to the modern shrimping industry. By the way….that was my gift to you– a little trivia. You never know –you might need that information for Jeopardy one day :).
